DC might not belong in L2 either, but we've got him and players like that can drive you to promotions. If you have no ambitions you sell for modest short-term gains, but I don't think that apply to us under this ownership.

Quite right we should hang onto our prized assets for as long as possible. Those on their way up will take the club up as well. Let’s also remember Kyle Wootton is now playing in league one as well and he also saw out his contract.

There will be scenarios like Ruben and Wootton and others like Macca (which I think the Macca one is the best for club and player as all parties benefit)

It’s a short career and players should not be begrudged wanting to play at a higher level. We just need them to hang around long enough to help this club to keep going forward and make the next step up as well.
