After several failures Farage went straight into the most likely seat for a Reform win, once he got the win he didn't give a flying f@ck about the people of Clacton. Nigel Farage is only interested in representing Nigel Farage - "In August 2024, Farage revealed as part of his obligation to the Register of Members' Financial Interests once entering parliament that he is earning over a million pounds per year for work done outside parliament, an amount that is estimated to be significantly higher than that of any other member of parliament".
Just an honest question, who paid for them to go?

    Strange old world innit!
Here we are lauding or lambasting a person who, if they had carried out the things he is accussed of in any normal walk of life, would be a social pariah or behind bars.

Just an honest answer, I don't know.

If you do know please enlighten me.

It will be interesting to see if Trump lasts the full term, he seems increasingly unhinged. There are those on here who say there are some good politicians in the Republican party, one of them replacing Trump mid term would probably be the best outcome.
Only Vance can replace him, the same who in 2020 called Trump some choice words yet will sit as his vice president

No, I don't have a clue. It was a genuine question.

There lies the problem...again. Accused by who though? Barack and Michelle Obama? Joe Biden's Department of Justice? Tim Walz? Kamala Harris (well her advisors who tell her what to say)? The left-wing media? That is what most of us outside of the US have been fed on.

It is a funny old world Smiffy , but for many in the US, the nightmare is coming to an end.

A rather motley collection of has-beens and ne'er do wells, who all have a vested interest in keeping power and suppressing Trump and his supporters. To me, the people who have ended up the worst out of this whole election are the true Democrat supporters, who have put their heart and soul into getting something unelectable, elected.

Barack and Michelle Obama, simply made themselves look like fools. If the current Democrat administration are anywhere near politics at the next election and think they can convince Michelle Obama to stand, then whoever stands for the Republicans will probably end up winning as many college seats as Trump and a few more to add. The Obamas weren't liked that much out of their own circles in the US and their performances at Harris rallies were, to be honest, disgraceful.

He wasn't just accused he was found guilty in a court of law of multiple counts of criminal fraud to cover up another crime.

In Australia he was rejected (years ago) for running a casino due to mob connections. He wouldn't be leader of either major party here either.

I'm kinda blown away he's won the popular vote tho. It looks like a LOT of people who voted for Biden stayed home for Harris. I'm also kinda disgusted with the USA right now.

There’s an interesting documentary still around on how he acquired land from the locals in Scotland to build a Golf Course, not nice!
