Those 2 wingers playing for Peterborough shown us how to attack with pace. With Nemane, most of the time he would stop and pass the ball back..

That's because he received passes facing his own goal with a man behind him instead of a forward pass for him to run onto and beat his man but you obviously couldn't see that.

Nemane was hamstrung by the defensive duties he was lumbered with. He would have been a much bigger threat if he'd been used solely as a winger (which I mentioned numerous times), running on to the space for that lovely ball we used to see, inside the full back.

I always thought this. He'd have been so dangerous as a wide forward in a 433 or 4231 formation, running on to through balls. Imagine trying to defend against that. Nemane always seemed to have a defender goal side of him, which is a shame given the raw pace he had.

I did too, he looked sharper in pre-season.

Too early to really judge this deal, but easy to think we'd have done better so far this season if we'd kept AN.

On paper the swap for Grant + cash looks good considering Grant was on our wishlist anyway, so no surprise it happened, but CG has got some way to go to repay Notts faith in him.
