Maybe pay him up but that doesn't help Evans with less to spend
We are supposed to have a successful businessman as an owner, I suspect that he knows how to deal with difficult employees and i am sure that the excellent COO has a whole plan in place to deal with Hugill. There just have to be some home truths, sorry Jordan this isn't working out and we want to work with you on helping you find a new club this winter, hopefully we can come to a sensible agreement. By the way you won't play for us again, and we won't be registering you as a player, so you decide whether you want to play football or not. Now hopefully our wonderful COO hasn't allowed Hugill to have silly clauses in his contract that force us to register or play him, but you never know when it comes to managing contracts at Rotherham. I am sure we won't have put ourselves in the best position.

Oh thanks for the offer Mr steward. Your pudding of a team signed me in 2023 on a 3 1/2 year deal. I'm 32 and nobody is going to offer me anything like what your paying me. If you want to pay me up I'm happy to do that.. if your thinking about making a insulting offer, hoping I take it then think again....

Probably paid out a lot of money. Maybe that's why Evans ran without a full squad.

Hatton showed glimpses at Barnsley there's something to work on. McGuckin needs a run in the side we aren't exactly looking threatening up front. Said before can't see point of having Hungbo & Mcdonald on the bench before those two.
Pretty clear - they are both tactically SACKED

If evans tells the truth, he had an incomplete squad due to his decision not to sign players that the board had approved on the last day of the window. He stated this in an interview at the time.

Any player with anything about him who could better himself like Rathbone wouldn't stay under Evans. What did he do bring 2 deadlegs like Kelly & Mcdonald in to replace him with more signings on top of that that haven't worked.

I could see sense in not getting players in before last day of window, if Steve Evans had used free agent signings after,
    on short term contracts.
Quite a few clubs brought in free agents on short contracts to the January 2025 transfer window, which didn't break
    the bank.
A short term contract to a player, is better than nothing at all.

Derby, if you believe that story, you believe in Father Christmas At the end of the window having sold Rathbone Evans had the "10" lined up he had chased all summer, the plug was pulled on the deal, not by Evans, he subsequently signed for one of our rivals who thought they had missed out on him and Evans was left to deal with our fans.

Trust me, Evans will walk away at some point, it will be very interesting to see what backing he gets in January.
