Even allowing for the poor opposition they still have to be beaten.
Comfortable win, looked solid at the back .
Good to see Andr? Green back playing and Liam Kelly.
More of the same going forward Millers.
Well done, a decent weekend for a change.

Good question. Next week will be a test. Mansfield play some good football so perhaps SE will revert to a 3.

Good performance. As above Oddofin was excellent - that?s his position. IF he wants to, then offer him 3 years more to play just there. I do suspect he?ll want to go though.

Powell also had a very good game as did Tiehi before his departure.

Special praise for JCH - he was outstanding. Movement, threat and finishing. His second goal was a special finish.

Very pleased for Green as well. I don?t really remembering him from before but he looks a handful.

Zak Jules also worth a mention - he looks solid.

As for the usuals on here looking for a dig at Evans. Get a life!

That?s better,played some decent Lge1 football.Poor team Northampton but we must beat teams like this & we did. I will do what the believers said at the beginning of the season & judge them in the next 10,15 games & see were that takes us but encouraging signs.We still need that hard man in M/F a grafter ball winner.

Think Northampton played some steady football with the ball..The thing they didn't do was press us.
They made it really comfortable for us to retain possession which gave us plenty of chances on goal

Solid performance, some definite improvements from a few, and although Northampton were (let's be honest) rudderless and piss poor, we schooled what was in front of us.

Just as there are calls to not excessively react to bad performances, I'm not getting carried away with a good one. Still a mountain to climb, and if Evans is trusted with the transfer window he needs to sort the issues he's created and show the fans he can then work with his own tools.

Next few games are massive, and two or three of those teams will be bang up for it. Let's hope this performance was a sign of what's to come and not a blip. UTM.

Seeing Green celebrate with the medical team was brilliant.
Powell almost scored the greatest goal ever. Is the crossbar ok?

The atmosphere was poor. But performances are picking up. It?s always packed on Boxing Day.

I?m not an Evans fan but that doesn?t mean I want to lose to get rid of him. That would be a Pyrrhic victory and they are for the mindless and the Soviets.
