There would absolutely nothing ?knee jerk? about getting rid of SM. In actual fact the owners either have the patience of saints, have lost interest, or aren?t prepared fall on their sword and admit they were wrong yet.
Did you want Maynard sacked at the end of last season or before that? Agree nothing knee jerk now but during last season that would have been very much knee jerk.

It may well end up a failed experiment but that is football most do and it is up to the owners to decide when their experiment conclusion is. Maybe they are just more patient, less emotional more level headed than us supporters seems far more likely than them losing interest where is there any interest of that? I have only seen the opposite
