Ronnie moore even at over 70 years old could have done a better or a decent job compared to the the last 3 we've had..he lives here and knows the town and the fans, and I'm sure he would have loved the chance again..if you're fit you're never too old and he shouldn't have been sacked after the Chesterfield drubbing in my opinion..what other choice have we got ?

Another aspiring manager like Taylor? Paid off..Richardson..paid off..the club is ok for this year, season tickets went well,...what about next year? Another dice roll..we lost all continuity years ago with local players who would run their blood to water for the club, now we've got a team who are either here for a last pay packet, or can't get a higher league club..I might well be wrong, but I think without major investment, and decent management, it's going to be a long, long road back to the good times..

As a chairman listening to that must surely show enuffs enuff
He did look a nervy, worried man, and out of breath. I hope he is ok health wise. I was pleased to see the return to the squad of Humphries and Bramhall. I wanted the interviewer to ask why they came back today. Please please leave Mr Evans so that I can enjoy my football again!

but our home grown players were scapegoated and hounded out of the club - do we want success?

Christmas Day tea time sat with the family having a great time & I was asked if I was going to NYS Boxing Day I said I didn?t know, they said if not they were all going to Wentworth, music & morris dancers out side the Rock then down to the George.Well I chose Wentworth what a fantastic day we had.The place was heaving with happy people all enjoying them selves.I didn?t even look at the result till I got home. Its sad because I?m not really bothered anymore if we win, lose or draw.

The past two years have been astonishing (to answer the post question fully).
No one really could have written the script so badly (before warne left) But in that summer, before he left, something went seriously wrong.
And has a lot to do with it.
There was no meaningful signings, it was the beginning of the end. No real different to what people have seen since, the end of the road players coming in. Which kept on going.
The good players going out since, some free, some at reduced fees, with bad signing costly signings coming in.

The Chairman and board have to take the blame for the above. So many errors.
Supposedly, they are involved in who comes in, inc Rob Scott, but how much is spent, and with what direction is the beginning.
And a proper course of club development was never put in place, starting with Evans.
Quite how he managed 2 promotions (different age you may say) I never really knew. Times change.

Warne was always pulling rabbits out of a hat, and the last full season of his was the pinnacle. He could do no more on a low budget.
I don’t blame him for walking. Timing was lousy Paul, it has to be said.
But the couple of jewels you had (like the first two) were sold off like the family silver….and some went for zero.
Here comes in the higher management yet again.

    The rest is history.
The Heath Robinson method of running a club has to stop.

What a **** performance from this team . The atmosphere is flat just like the team performance and that?s how the club feels flat . It runs through the club . There?s only one person who?s to blame and that?s the chairman. I said a few years ago that this club was reactive and not proactive and it?s foundations were built on sand . The chairman is letting this s club slide to who knows where .

    Timing of goal…..we had another 45 man….

Shambolic organisation, dispirited squad (the ones who are bothered), more crying off injured?
Playing a natural left footed on the other wing. (That really takes the prize)
    None existent tactics…
    The list could go on.

And no word other than, thanks Cliff we wish you well in all your record royalties and all your efforts…..
