Graham Taylor turned down the Albion job and we ended up with Ron Atkinson .
Still wish Giles had stayed .

Good one Bomber! They say the coaching staff was the issue. Wouldn?t coaching staff be brought up in the first conversations? Any new manager would want their own team in - why would they want a thought process of a past manager! A manager needs to be on the same wavelength tactically of his team and vice versa.

Worrying that a new manager is not in place with the January window to deal with incomings and outgoings.

I certainly wouldn?t trust a non footballing person with recruitment and we need to learn from Cole, Holgate, McDair, Frabotta, Dobbin and Racic!

Certainly wouldn?t leave Brunty or the Analyst in charge. Mowbray short term contract which may suit him?

This is a very difficult period for our club. Having to start the process of appointing a new head coach all over again, after nearly completing the last process, is not the easiest of tasks. We are also half way through the January transfer window, a period when we were hoping to be involved in both incomings and outgoings.

While I had no problem with CC taking the job at Valencia as it is his childhood club, but the timing, from our point of view, was as bad as it could have been. As I have said, it is a very concerning period for us and can only hope that we can come out of the other side, relatively unscathed.

I agree. Let?s hope Fellows and Maja don?t go and it?s too late to bring in new players. 3 million from Carlos and these two players would give a healthy pocket balance!

Exactly, if we are hoping to build for the future we need to keep our quality players as losing one or both would set us back considerably.

Why did we waste so much time on Wicky .
He pulled out talks with Sunderland talks over his backroom staff .
Before aggreeing to talk to us,why didn't he talk to his number 2 .

More importantly - why didn?t Nestor raise this in the first discussion?
