    He may not have been the first choice but I think that we have done pretty well by getting him. While CC did an amazing job getting us to where we are now I would hope that our future approach will be a little more on the front foot and a little less negative when taking the lead.

    Welcome back Tony, feel optimistic particularly because he has a track record of getting the most out of talented youth, he did wonders with Sunderland. Also he gave me some great days.

    I don't remember him starting with too much in the way of 'quality players' what I remember is a number coming in during Mowbray's time that truly were quality signings. Koumas came back and we signed the likes of Phillips, Dorrans, Koren, Brunt, Morrison, Miller, Texieria, PIG, Olsson, Mulumbu. All at bargain prices. And yes we really did have 'the best midfield that I know'

    Was about to say the same, also Dean Kiely, These guys cemented our top level status for years after.
