He may not have been the first choice but I think that we have done pretty well by getting him. While CC did an amazing job getting us to where we are now I would hope that our future approach will be a little more on the front foot and a little less negative when taking the lead.

I don't remember him starting with too much in the way of 'quality players' what I remember is a number coming in during Mowbray's time that truly were quality signings. Koumas came back and we signed the likes of Phillips, Dorrans, Koren, Brunt, Morrison, Miller, Texieria, PIG, Olsson, Mulumbu. All at bargain prices. And yes we really did have 'the best midfield that I know'Great news,but he ain't got the quality players he had last time around
Now if he could pull off a similar trick this time around............................
