Watched Newcastle - Bournemouth for 10 min. Decided to switch and watch Championship football, Cardiff- Swansea. There is a gulf in class watching these 2 matches after switching channels. Farke just has to put best side out there every match this season, don't worry about blooding youth etc, because if we go up many senior players won't be good enough for Premier League, next season.

I’m watching that game too (on delay - about twenty minutes in) and we would be totally battered by either team.

I haven’t gone out of my way to watch Bournemouth, but they are playing some really positive and fast paced football.

Another case of be wary of what you hope for!

The gulf between championship and even the lower end of the premiership is indeed frightening, very hard to bridge that gap, certainly not with what we have.

Started their progression last season, this seasin has seen them giving the best a spanking (and they have a home attendance that league 1 teams can beat!)

Bar the 3 that went up last season, we’d be getting a weekly rodgering.

If Solomon stays then we probably have 6 or so who are good enough but some of them play in the same position such out wide.

Can see us carrying some big wages for players who aren?t good enough too and who no-one else will pick up.

Be interesting if we go up to see what happens with Wober (looks like we will sell), Harrison, Rasmus and Aaronson as a lot of P&S money tied up in them.
