Very harsh, Dan Crowley was brilliant for us and a pleasure to watch. Bearing the contract situation in mind a move seemed best for all, but let's not do the durham 'spurned lover' thing and forget what he did in a Notts shirt. If he hadn't moved to an utterly vile excuse for a club I would thank him and wish him well, but I'll only properly wish him well when he leaves MK Dons.

There would have been much more to that interview so he possibly did it immediately after.
On his Instagram... It's really not difficult to see he was getting shat on in the comments to he hastily put something out after spend an hour deleting comments

No, you said 7. He's moved clubs 13 times and the principle applies to footballers too. Bouncing around like that does say something.

In answer to others though, the main headline remains that a main rival has taken a major asset from us mid-competition.

About 11 clubs are competing for 3 promotion spots. 1 of these clubs (us) had arguably the best player in the division (note the 'arguably' there). At over the half way point of the competition, a rival has taken that asset away and now he plays for them and boosts their chances. And they were in constant touch with that contracted player and his agent during the first half of the competition too!

We can all agree that we made the best of a bad situation, good riddance and all of that, but we're not supposed to be happy about this. It sucks.

In its simplest form, Crowley averaged a goal or assist approx every 1.6 games.
If the new signings bring us that between them, then we shouldn?t really miss him from a results perspective.
I think Grant could be a decent player but I can?t see he will be close to hitting those numbers.
It?s not guaranteed that he will continue those stats for MK, but that?s what they?ve now potentially got.

Overused when it suits to call it so, this is a term which was coined by those people themselves but when it gets turned against them, suddenly it's a bad word.

No more on this anyway, it's off topic for the thread.

Totally different? So bouncing around so mush doesnt say something? A loan is a move away from a situation, a team or club. Whether it?s 7 or 13 moves it?s still a lot for a 27 year old and almost everyone seems to agree that his departure leaves a lot to be desired.
On his return, he?s due a Meadow Lane roasting and it?s due.

Contract that with what Ruben would get if he came back - did the business, saw his contract out, left the right way. He?d get a massive welcome, Crowley will return to a chorus of boos
Are you suggesting he should have said 'are he footballers'?

    Tell us more Durham?
Does any of us know what ?he is really like??
I?d say a very talented footballer who, like the vast majority of us, saw an opportunity to take a substantial pay rise. He could have handled it better and hopefully he realises that.

I am not going to divulge anything that would shatter his loyal followers opinions of him. So, that is the end of this discussion...
