I for one am not obsessed by him. I probably stand alone on this, but I thought that the way Notts had to play to get the most out of ML was detrimental to the team and was holding Notts back.
All said and done, I think it would be good for both parties, to bring him in on a short term loan and fit him in with the current system. We are short on forwards and McGoldrick surely can't physically carry on the way he is for the rest of the season.
To be able to start out with him or introduce him at half time would be a massive bonus. For ML, it would give him the chance to kick start his career again and put him back in the shop window.
If Milwall's style of play doesn't suit him, they will be wanting to offload him. I'm both clubs could come to some agreement on his wages.
As I write, Milwall are 2-0 with ML playing up front - but from what I'm reading he didn't score either or have a hand in either, but I stand to be corrected.
