Players we've sold this season will offset most of that. So say it's same doesn't take much working out players wages will account for most of that. League 1 clubs with double or even triple our turnover seen to spending more on players than even that. So how do they account for that?

Just looked for one season only relegated clubs to league 1 get 12.6% of the basic award that season as a parachute payment. Last league 1 season basic award was ?920,000 so would think be round 1million this season.

It is interesting that Evan’s says he doesn’t expect anyone else to leave even though offers have been made for players. He says he is asked for his evaluation and because those haven’t been met, not selling. So we are told SE doesn’t do contract decisions one week and the next we are told he sets the sale price, complete utter rubbish. This season is an asset stripping season, hopefully done enough to stay up safely and balance the books, that is all TS cares about.
I wonder what Evan’s sell price is for Hugill, I have a go ?0k in fact it might be the only transfer money TS will spend this season to ship Hugill out with a bag of money to get shut.
