The way the Tories, and Boris Johnson in particular mishandled Brexit. For centuries Great Britain had a global reputation for honesty, decency and compassion. Johnson and co trashed that.

Seeing as you're demanding answers yet again, how about you practice what you preach:

This man is imo very, very dangerous.
Under the authority world peace, Gaza is a basket case along with being a bombed wasteland that is no good even to the Palestinians, they have got to be shown the way of peace and prosperity but they cannot see that beacon whilst Hamas/ Hezbula are ruling with AK47's, Trumpalong with other middle east nations are goiing to do it a different way new ideas, trillions of dollars......... jobs, peace, prosperity, this has got to be the way not rinse & repeat what is now. Unlike most here i have been to Gaza, many years ago, it was a typical middle east enclave, people that didn't want to kill you, markets, souke'good food, it could very well have been a riveria on the Med, along comes PLO, all gone!. It's no good looking at the UN to keep peace, i worked for it, it is a gravy train now, useless, under Major general U'thant it was credible, not nw.

    Over to you.
I thought I?d written that Elon Musk plans to save US$4 billion a day. My apologies, my typo error. I do make them. I was referring to his aim to get the US towards near zero percent inflation.
To be honest I had to go right back to see where I?d typed it.
The post was incorrect because of my typo.

I might be misquoting again, but those that talk about colonialism aligned with those that lived through the 60s and 70s with the unions ruining British industry and the poor quality of British goods might disagree with you a bit there.

Well we moved on to the supporting ethnic cleansing bit quicker than I thought. A genocidal lunatic bombs the sh!t out of 2.3m people and his useful rapist clown in the White House wants to reward him for it.

Still, those democrats were awful werent they?

Perhaps (as with the tariffs 'drama') he's presenting a 'nuclear' (not literally) solution in the hope that it'll get the ME nations to start pulling their fingers out and bang some heads together to reach a peaceful solution.

Good post. Lebanon and Beirut (the Paris of the Middle East too - https://www.city-journal.org/article...be-paris-again). It bemuses me that Hamas were able to build such a comprehensive tunnel system and infiltrate so many official buildings all under the auspices of UNRWA; and what a failure 70+ years of that programme has been, probably mainly thanks to the religion of peace.

I recall flights to Far East and Australia refuelled at Beirut, and then I remember armed soldiers boarding the planes and airlines finding an alternative.

The behaviour of Hamas in parading their weapons in their circus displays surrounding the release of hostages is sickening and a clear message that they are undefeated, which is a claim to victory, intend that they intend to continue.

Palestine deserves better. It is perhaps worthy of note that there are nearly 2million Palestinians living in Israel, forming around 20% of the population there.

There?s anecdotal evidence that the UN was funding the tunnel building without those at the top knowing it.

The fact that some of the hostages were kept by Hamas in UN buildings might explain why many were ?unaware? of their activity.
