Well Montague is going to walk into Swansea tomorrow for his first day in the job and find he knows no one at all now![]()
Was thinking this myself - I'd give it a 1% chance.
What's more likely is that the Swans fans gaze now turns to Montague, however stupid that'd be, as they get into a terrible run of fixtures. They might not be keen on hires from Notts County now.
Williams getting just 1 year there is very short-sighted IMO. A commitment to that style takes time and you can't listen to old dinosaurs in the stands. Sackings like his do football no favours, there will be fewer coaches around willing to take risks and stand out from the crowd. We got a promotion out of his brave philosophy, really going for it when Ardley and Burchnall before him were scared of attacking NL teams. I wasn't wishing them well at all, but I think they've made a bad move here and are now far more likely to be L1 than the Prem in the near future.
Sounds like all is far from well down their neck of the woods.

This surprised me in terms of the sheer extent of the ill feeling against Williams. Wonder what his next move will be. He will clearly want some time out to take stock, so don?t expect to see him back in management until next season. He may get a league 1 job at a push. My view is Leyton orient when Wellens gets a bigger job as seems to be likely. Forget the nearer to home rubbish. London is his true home.
'Many have taken to not attending games until the head coach leaves. And that is evident in attendances, thousands are missing, even people who have season tickets. The head coach is costing the club thousands and thousands in financial income.'
Check out the attendances and you will see that it isn't true.
