However if there was a statement in writing that all the funds raised annually from the 1893 Foundation will be handed over to increase the manager’s playing budget I would make a monthly contribution.
I also believe that the 1893 Foundation should have a separate independent group of trustees which is what happens with the Ayr United AU 500 fund, the Well Trust and the Foundation of Hearts.
Well imo you have no right to question where the money goes, I donate and don?t really care how money is spent, it all helps the club one way or another, you or any other person that thinks it pays Nelms wages is a clown clutching at straws to have a pop at Nelms

Wow - anyone with a different opinion or idea to yours is a clown? And here was me thinking only the island dweller himself was that narrow minded.

Most normal Football Club’s fundraising schemes aimed at receiving donations from their supporters normally state how he money will be spent from the outset which was not the case as far as the 1893 Foundation was concerned as it stated that the money would go into the Dundee Football Club bank account.
This means that the money could be spent on anything such as the latest new stadium development at Campy Nou presentation by Nelms to the Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce members which gave the impression that Dundee Football Club were building the new stadium development at Campy Nou which could not be further from the truth.
According to the Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce website the admission price to attend this presentation by Nelms was free for Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce members and ?1,000 for non members.

I ignored jdfc’s comment about me as it takes one to know one.

I?m not saying he?s not allowed an opinion, what I am saying is he?s no right to say where MY money goes, if he donated then yes he can have a say, but no like you to twist something i say, and yes he is a clown and you know it, I?m sure you?ve called him similar or worse in the past

I don't twist things, I might misquote mind.

Of course you have the absolute right to say where your money goes as others have the right to say theirs isn't going to a place because they believe it's being used for a particular purpose with which they don't agree.

Yes I've called Islay worse and probably will do again.

At meeting between Norrie Price and Gary Cocker representing Dee4life and John Nelms along with Greg Fenton in July 2022 John Nelms stated that the money donated by 1893 Foundation members was used to purchase players.
However Scotty Roberts told me in January 2023 that funds donated by the 1893 Foundation members goes into the Club?s bank account and it is John Nelms who sets the budgets on the income which comes in from whatever source.

It?s a bit like the boys who never go to dens, don?t put a penny into the club, but they have got as much right to criticise as much as a season ticket holder?..you don?t

Until you get off your fat arse, and unplug your firestick and then contribute to the club then you can have a say.

So many ?fans? who never ever go, then criticise the players the club is signing?.
