It?s sad to see how far we have regressed.
SE has taken us backwards. Why aren?t the ones who kept telling us SE would get it right coming on and telling us we?re biased because we don?t like Evans?
Own it and admit you were wrong
That performance today was pathetic just like the club at the moment.
Taking Hugill off sums SE up clueless.
If TS still has any interest he will get rid of the manager but we know why he won?t.
Pathetic all round as a club we?re lost in every sense.

Yes Hugill is trying a bit now but I?ll never forgive him for month upon month of not giving a toss.

I don’t think he was switched on at all in that 45. That’s my opinion.
When he found himself alone poaching at the back post he could have let the ball bounce off him into the net. His reactions were almost nil, it just glanced off his thigh.

    Don?t disagree with you Sota.
My view is that taking him off made us easier to defend against. We looked more threatening first half with him in, although it?s a really low bar we?re talking about.

I thought this would be a drab affair because it was two teams low on confidence and it proved to be the case. Two poor teams today with us being marginally better on the day.

In our two encounters this season, I have to say that I've never seen a Rotherham team put up that less of a fight. You guys must be tearing your hair out after seeing that. At least if you fought hard and lost or gave it a real go it would be at least something.

We have been so vulnerable at the back this season, and generally cave in when teams put us under pressure. Evans tactics were to sit back, allow us to have the ball and never really put us under pressure barring a spell at the start of the second half. We then break away and pinch a penalty which was your own undoing and it killed off whatever momentum you had going at that point.

I think it's worrying times for both sets of fans. I wasn't particularly chuffed with our own performance and lack of fight today but it was enough and as I say, Evans tactics certainly surprised me.
Spot on pal, but as easy a 1-0 win as you could possibly have ever had, good luck for the rest of the season. UTM

That was dire to say the least, as easy a 1-0 win as any team is likely to have, where was the pressing and movement? Powell didn't have the best of games by his standards but I'd have never taken either him or Hugill off as it actually made us worse, which was virtually impossible to do. The penalty was a catastrophe for both James and Phillips, and was probably worthy of winning an awful low level game from both teams with Barnsley never looking threatened once in front. The lack of management skills was highlighted when after taking Powell off who is our dead ball kicker, we get a corner and NOBODY goes to take it, why wasn't Evans or raynor shouting at someone to tell them to take it 😡 absolutely clueless. We should have had a penalty on the stroke of half time when Nombe was dragged to the ground by his shirt and then Hugill misses a sitter straight after, but that seemed basically it for the afternoon. I don't know if changing the manager is the answer just yet, but nor can we keep allowing performances like that to continue and at the moment I can't see where the next win is coming from. UTM

What sort of tactic is ?keep putting strikers on but have no shape or don?t press??
