I will be the first to admit I have been critical at times this year about our lack of intensity. But despite only getting a draw, I thought that was about as well as we have played all season. There was plenty of energy, intensity and enthusiasm in that game tonight. I actually thought it was a decent game to watch, and were a tad unlucky not to get all 3 points. The only thing that was disappointing was Parkers Subs, which came at a really bad time in opinion. Yanking off Flemming off for Fanny features Foster on 60 mins made no sense to me at all. At that point everything was bubbling nicely. Then taking Hannibal off whose energy was 2nd to none was a joke too.
A decent game to watch is one where we win. If we draw it's a tolerable watch and if we lose it's intolerable. If I want to watch attractive football I'll watch PSG or whoever is the form team. I don't care how we win, just that we do win, then the dopamine kicks in and I'm happy.
A fairly tolerable season so far then k.c., we have only lost twice.![]()
Same old Same old bloody whingers
It really does get tiresome ballcock. I've just got home from a 3 week stay in paradise, met loads of footy fans from all over Europe. I have a habit of stopping to converse with anyone wearing a footy shirt, one dude in particular was wearing a B@stards shirt so I blanked him totally.
When you step away for a while you get a chance to read and see what other fans think, a couple of Leeds fans they could still blow it but we agree the second spot is really down to us and the Blades.
If we could all get behind the Clarets, instead of bloody moaning what a difference that could make! UTC#
I'll even lay off Foster for a while.![]()
My dad used to say to his brother (my uncle) "You're only bloody happy when you are bloody moaning!"
