we moved to Nottm in '72 and Dad says he actually picked Notts because they were the underdogs, lol and so it began. Season ticket holder for 50 odd years, he sent me a tenner in the pages of a Notts matchday program every birthday when I was working away, and treated me to matches whenever I was home. I'm another one who had to endure the redback's successes while at school, so basically despise them to this day! Used to kayak from near the boat club as a kid, and often took the opportunity to relieve myself against the Trent End when no one was around

We've had a number of family stories linked to Notts over the years, so basically bleed Black & White. As much as Notts have been a basket case of a club for most of the last half century, I wouldn't change my club for anything, really. Traveling around, everyone has heard of Fword, but I've taken great joy in heducating the global masses as to the Oldest Club in the World, and One True Nottingham Team! Always followed Notts from near or far, but waking up early to stream the games live has been a real guilty pleasure for me over the last few years. I'm so happy even now he didn't choose the plastic club of posers. Dear Dad, awesome choice! You won't be able to join me if I get back for the Donny game, but I'll bring you the program with a tenner in it!
