That?s a very twisted view of reality on how things are in football right now.
Without the money going in then Barnsley simply would not have a football club.
All football clubs are on the hamster wheel - it?s unsustainable - but if an owner chooses to step off that wheel then that club is at real risk of folding.
Let?s hope Neerav keeps the faith in the club.

And these wanting new owners - what they are really asking for is someone to come in and put even more money into the club.
To return to a time when Barnsley?s recruitment consisted of trying to out bid other clubs for players - and more than often losing in the bidding war.
Thank God the club has moved on from that.

And how we recruit players now is good is it?

In the last 2 seasons, our recruitment has been a joke. There's only DKD that cuts the mustard. He cost around 750k.

The rest have been signed from 3rd/4th rate teams across Europe's lower leagues for free/nominal fees and aren't even up to the level that we require to get promoted back to the championship. Nowhere near in fact.

Nobody is asking for millions to be spent, but seeing as the owners have made such a hash of things, and allowed running costs to escalate to ridiculous amounts just to keep the club in existence, then their total incompetence means they are spending 8 million a season to keep the club afloat. THAT IS THEIR FAULT, NOBODY ELSES. TOTAL IN-FEKKIN-COMPETENCE as I say.

You are swallowing it hook, line and sinker. The fact that the club is in existence pacifies people like you and you perpetually argue that when the answer is starring you in the face.

Personally you seem the type of person who doesn't actually have a thought out and considered opinion. You just like to be different, and throw a grenade into the mix to simply create debate or controversy that aims back to you for no other reason than creating attention towards yourself. You even ignore the facts and stick with a mantra that is of no foundation whatsoever and is simply non debateable, especially when it comes to the crunch- hence you shying away from REAL DEBATE when you're proven wrong.

So what you are saying is that every Hc anywhere in the game had all proved themselves at previous jobs , amazing !! that no Hc had a first job , its a good job that John Dennis gave Danny Wilson a start with no previous experience otherwise we would never have got in the premier league . It is obvious you have got a downer on Hourihane which is fine but you have no evidence to say that he cannot make a fist of it , you prefer this continuous repeat and rinse approach from our owners who sack a HC and others at great cost to the club and then we pay lumps of compensation to another club to bring another HC and all his support staff , it is costing us ? millions , no wonder we have spiralling debts and you know the best thing about this is that when the new HC hits a sticky patch you and cartloads more will be calling for his head and this lot of numpties will oblige thus taking the pressure off themselves and we start again with more cash been thrown down the river . It is time for a different approach , let?s take a gamble , what have we got to lose ? give Conner the gig and if he fails so be it but it will at least buck the trend that is failing and you never know it might just work .

Generally losing 8m a year can be attributed to spending a few million in the transfer market and occupying the top 2 and more or less guaranteed that once in the championship the players are of sufficient quality to more than hold their own .

We on the other hand sit halfway down League One with a squad acquired from the out of contract bracket and still lose 750k a month .

It's not normal what so ever , not even remotely .

We had successful league one teams under Patrick Cryne and absolutely none of these monthly losses .
