Good business by the club and provides cover for Bass?s injury and should anything happen to Slocombe. Hopefully not as Slocombe has done well since coming in to cover for Bass. So he doesn?t deserve to be dropped in my opinion.

It also means the pressure is off to rush Bass back and he can get fit and ready for potentially playoff games.

This seems like a really good deal.

If he does an "Archie" then I can imagine "Born in the USA" (the Boss) blasting out over the Meadow Lane sound system.

    Chaucer would approve.
Bring back Charlie Slater and Alex Dyer.

Seems Luke was after him at the beginning of the season. I wonder if he's been on our radar for some time.

It's great isn't it. If he plays half as well as he speaks, he'll be an excellent signing!

Do we start him tomorrow night though? I?m a bit 50-50 on it, any keeper we bring in now is going to be targeted by the opposition in their 1st game especially when their totally new to the league/country.

He's been training with us a little while so I'd expect him to play tomorrow night. He'll not be targeted any more than Slocombe who's our aging 2nd choice keeper.
