I can remember Hearts fans this time last season and how much they were pulling away...

    That went to plan.

Don't overthink things min, as there is nothing you can do to change it eithet off or on the pitch.

If things annoy you so much, you should possibly take up something a bit more sedate than following the Dons.

It's really not going to be much better than it currently is.
Next time try and get your facts right before rubbishing others

We outspent every other team except Celtic and Rangers and we have apart from these two the highest spend in wages.

We are a LAZY team. Our coaching is LAZY and our players are LAZY. We still lose cheap goals from set pieces and still don?t look much of a threat going forward. Please tell me how this is happening due to our hard working coach and players as I am open to the evidence.

Don?t let the facts get in a way of a good debate though. I am clearly romping this one

We paid transfer fees for quite a few players this season whilst our other competitors didn?t spend that between them.

Now you can understand why it annoys me seeing how we go about our business.

We are miles off it under Jimmy Turnip
It?s actually about ?2.8 million we have spent this season.

We have taken in about ?7 million in transfers this season from selling on Miovski and Duk.

This is Daves process we have been doing for a few years , buy players and sell them on for a profit. I guess its worked in the past with some of the signings but I cant see us making money on most of the guys here.Possibly Keskinen if he improves on a fair amount of his game.

Why does it bother you that we are spending money on transfers fees?

None of it is coming out of your pocket. Its a lot better than if we are selling our players and not trying to invest it back into the squad.

What I read was that the spend was ?3m - ?3.5m.

Where did you get the theory I was at all bothered we are spending money on transfer fees?
    A strange one.
I am actually happy about that and have complimented Dave Cormack for doing so.

My point about the transfer fees are obvious?.we outspent the rest of the league (except Celtic and Rangers) put together and we are obviously still getting short changed.
Our recruitment is obviously bad but also our coaching of said players is poor as well. There is absolutely no player we have signed that I would have playing for Aberdeen if that is the best you get out of the hard work they put in.

You said it annoys you how we go about our business and you have said under every manager we have had since McInnes that you wouldnt let them spend any money.

It makes you wonder why Jim Goodwin has managed to finish above us without spending much money but couldnt even beat Darvel when he was our manager with a significantly higher budget.

It does annoy me about how the Aberdeen first team go about their business?.they cannot find solutions for prolonging problems.

Spending money on players should only be given to those who prove they are worthy of getting a bigger improvement from the said players.

Jim Goodwin isn?t a good manager and let?s be real about that. He is bang average mediocre type in Scottish football and really struggled at our club. The ridiculous thing about it is he has got the better (so far) of Jimmy Turnip who has far greater resources/money during that season in the league.

It won?t get better if you keep throwing money at a sinking ship as the damage is that significant and no one is willing to do extra to stop the inevitable.

Has Jimmy Thelin been well backed absolutely
Has he the best budget of the rest absolutely
Does he believe in his own signed players absolutely
Are they making Aberdeen better absolutely not
Is Jimmy worth backing for another season you decide but i wouldn?t.

I would give him next season but its not up to me.

Its Cormacks decision because he was the one who appointed him in the first place.

He might be backing him and giving him another season because its not going to look good on Cormack if he has got to sack another manager.

That would be 5 managers if you include Warnock that hes got wrong in 4 years.

It?s good to see your opinion on Thelin. I obviously disagree but i am humble enough to hope you?re correct and he does well.

None of us here want to see managers sacked every season but at Aberdeen a standard needs to be set and in my opinion (unless he wins the Scottish Cup?.no laughing at the back) he already looks a very beaten man manager.

Since the locked dressing room door talking too at Ibrox he has lost his players. An easy beating in the next match against a second string Celtic team and then another poor defeat at Tannadice doesn?t portray a great look at our club.
I would argue our players and him have downed tools and their season is over. The cup final looks like it is a match of inconvenience and one he is dreading.

Can anyone say they believe any of our players look up for it? That to me is a massive disappointment and definitely suggests the manager and his players no longer connect.
That is why a parting of the ways must happen.

That would be concerning if Thelin has lost the dressing room because the same has been said under Goodwin , Robson and Warnock.

I remember towards the end of McInnes time as well we lost to Hibs at Easter road and Willie Miller said on the radio that the players looked like they werent playing for him.

Must be a toxic culture at the club.

Haven't we all threw that two words out there many many times over the last six or seven years (maybe more)
But as others have also said, supporting the dons is fcukin addictive, one minute you are packing it all in and then the next minute something happens that brings you back on board, whether that is binning a manager, bringing in a new manager, signing a player that ignites some optimism back in to you, there's many things, that can bring you back into the fold, and this time let's hope it's landing the Scottish Cup (that might work for a few)
