What makes me laugh is a number of posters slaughtered Maynard now the dust has settled we dont actually have a good squad

Just for clarity I think Maynard has to part ways for his and the clubs sake.
I would have sacked him the same time the Saunders Bros left..

Must admit I find it hard to ignore the fact that our form nosedived around the time the Saunders brothers left. Was it because they were the real force behind the good stuff, or was Maynard hung out to dry because he had minimal assistance?

Hindsight suggests to me it was the former rather than the latter.

No you wouldn’t as our form at that point was good.

Just accept it this season isn’t all on him is it if you look at things from a balanced view.

You could say we lost a goal/assist machine in Crowley at that time and replaced him with somebody from overseas who scored zero goals, now who was responsible for that decision ?

I’d say out recruitment has been pretty average this season and that’s being kind I’ve been very consistent in this viewpoint all season and got told to shut up a few times for blasting RM but I don’t care as I stand by it and I’m right also.

Yes i would have, i wanted him sacked last season... He is tactically inept, proven by his inability to select the right team and change things during games.. The guy is crap and thats my opinion, and i will not change it..

You also said this season you’d give him a chance you change your views that often that you will never be wrong !

I know you want him sacked and have done for a while I’m just saying if you are saddled with sh*t you can have Pep, Enrique, Slot whoever but they aren’t going to make you better players.

My opinion is we have lots of crap players not good enough for promotion from this league and until they are removed no manager is turning them into good players as tactics are only as good as your players.

I think/hope the last two seasons have opened their eyes as more physical players are needed 100%

So what is your balanced view? Is it that without the Saunders brothers Maynard's deficiencies were laid bare, or that given proper backing Maynard will lead us to success?

I know what I think, what do you think?

My balanced view is it’s not all on Maynard as he doesn’t sign players or decide who is sold he has to make do.

Now I think he should go but in regards to Saunders brothers I don’t know the reason they went which was odd to say the least as you had one of them give an interview saying he has completed his blueprint whatever that means.

All managers need good coaches around them look at Clough when Taylor left him.

I'm looking at Maynard since the Saunders brothers left.

All I can see is failure.

Yes that is true but in all forms of work a CEO will fail if he loses important people around him too.

You do need good coaches around you I agree.

What when we'd won five games out of six with injured players on the way back? That would have been mental.
