Like most clubs the recruitment team have a big job to do this close season but do not forget the reason we will have 2,000 more than any other club that will play in League Two next season is largely down to the club?s past recruitment.

If they do not address the lack of physicality in midfield then we will go nowhere. That has to be the starting point. Need legs in central midfield and some much needed bite

    My wish list.
    Maynard, Gordon, Edwards, Morias gone.
    IN (4231)
    Back up keeper
    Experienced defender. Ideally left sided.
    Right back
    Two CMs
    McGoldrick signed up.
    Another winger
    Striker to challenge Jatta.

    GK Bass / AN other
    RB Macari / AN other
    LB Bedeau / Tsaroulla
    CB Platt / Ness
    CB McDonald / AN other
    CM Palmer / AN other
CM Robertson / Hinchy / AN other
    AM McGoldrick / Grant
    L/RW Jones / Traore
    L/RW Jarvis / AN other
    ST Jatta / AN other

Not counting Sanderson, Reynolds, Cisse or any of the others kids due to next to zero first team experience.

7 newbies seems a realistic turnover.

If we are to mount a serious challenge for automatic promotion we need the following.

A new head coach and Backroom staff.
Backup Goal keeper, Archie Mair will do
    Shyte house Central Defender
    2 conventional full backs
    2 Ball winning Midfielders
2 Aggressive strikers who dont fall over when its windy.

Out of that selection, Ness, Grant, Traore and Jatta are the weakest link. I would sell if any offers came in.

There are some very large gaps to fill, and if we persist on taking a punt on 'players for the future' I think we can write next season off. We need guaranteed first teamers, not squad fillers.
Throw in it being Roberto Gagliardis first transfer window. And his history is incredibly sketchy. Is he even qualified for player recruitment? I'm not confident the recruitment is going to be any good. Probably the most important summer since the bros taking over. Get this wrong and we could.be in serious trouble.

Was Montague qualified? Gagliardis is known to the brothers, he's worked with them as an analyst previously. The only misstep the brothers have done so far is bringing in Maynard, let's have a bit of faith in them

I would argue their mishap count is three now, all relating to SM.

    - Appointing him
    - Keeping him for last pre season
    - Not firing him around Feb, we only had to hire someone relatively competent on a short term deal to get us the extra few points for promotion.
