How you can say that Reform has no previous is beyond me. They are the people who sold you the dream of Brexit. Away from the mania of people like Bill, I think the penny has dropped for many people that they were sold a turd. It looks like a new party name is enough for people not to notice. I guess that's how dodgy double glazing (etc.) salesmen get away with just starting a new company to continue to fleece people.
I'd also like to be surprised that people can identify with a millionaire former merchant banker who is backed by billionaire hedge fund managers, but it seems that an image consultant and a photo shoot with a pint and a fag is enough.
With his backers, it's almost as though Farage is dreaming of a deregulated economy where he and his backers can make money by exploiting people with little regard for the damage they cause along the way.
In addition to the poor communications from Labour, Starmer has been caught out by the unrealistic promises that he made during the campaign. I pointed that out prior to the election, but, as touched upon previously, honesty isn't a great strategy in UK politics. I suppose that we get the country we deserve.
