What evidence do you have that we are paying for it?

What evidence is there that they are suited and booted? How many? Have you personally seen them coming out of their rooms, having their allocated breakfast wearking their suits and boots? What are you defining as 'nice trainers and jeans'? Have you got close enough to inspect the labels?

I can also add from my own personal anecdotal evidence that I have seen a lot of asylum seekers down the market and taking advantage of fake designer trainers and tops - tops were ?3.50, trainers were a fiver. I know they were asylum seekers cos they looked foreign. This is probably as credible as your own anecdotal evidence. I could probably find some daft fefty who would swallow it.

We know as it is a fact that boarded asylem seekers receive ?8.66 from the UK government. That is a fact. But you are insisting that we are paying them much more somehow and seem quite sure about it. How do you know?

Have you tried asking them?

Are you happy with legal asylum seekers from Ukraine etc? How do you know that they aren't located in this hotel?

As a tax payer, I'm not happy that we've been so ****ing useless in processing claims that we are left with a huge backlog which at least is moving faster but as yet, nether you, Farage nor anyone has come up with a legal, credible plan that is likely to provide any alternative to that. In another alternative universe, I'd love to see Farage actually placed in a position of power and responsibility so he can try his own methos of dealing with this, as well as his own Trussian economic fantasies, but I wouldn't like to live in that universe to see the **** hit the fan!

The asylum seeker issue is world wide, impacting the vast majority of European countries, many more so than us, and I can understand why my money is going where it's going and grudging accept it, more so than pushing people back into war torn countries. On that we will have to agree to disagree. If Farage gets in as I'm sure you and many others wish, then let's see what happens. His work on Brexit went so well for us...
