I agree. Plus it's bank holiday week as well so people will be away on holiday generally and in the football world many players and coaches will be away from early may until early June. Players don't need to report back for pre-season training for a month.
As I mentioned in another thread the club did not announce Luke Williams until 14th June so if it takes another two weeks to announce someone who will be the right person then so be it.

It should be phased out across the leagues and I think it will be.
Many on here must be in larger companies, so the way to understand it is you have an operations manager who comes in and says he's taking over all of HR too.
Playing full-back for Crewe for 10 years say, or winger at Wimbledon for 12 shouldn't qualify you to be practically CEO at Notts County. Get your coaching qualifications, and coach a team in an ultra-competitive professional league, that's more than enough for anyone to do
In time for christmas
We'd already been put under a transfer embargo, subject to a winding up petition and up for sale by the time Trew appointed him.
I doubt Sheridan was brought in to achieve anything other than give the impression that the club was not a complete basket case and to calm the fans outraged by the Fullarton debacle, long enough for Trew to sell it.
Notts are advertising for a new performance analyst, the role that Joao Alves used to hold. So Alves absolutely isn't going back to his old role - he's either moving on, staying as an assistant or coach, or god forbid, is the new manager...
Alves got promoted to coaching, we then got another analyst in, so probably the latter.
For the ladies team, and unpaid at that!
