To be fair I don't think we know that they didn't make such an offer unless I've missed something. All we can assume is that the club offered what they thought the value would be and Didzy didn't agree. That's life. Until we know how that extra resource is used I don't think we can be downbeat. He was amazing last season but that is gone, who can say what this year would have brought. We may have regretted spending a big wage on someone in the recovery room.
