    Martin Patterson

Just been told that Martin Patterson is about to be announced our new manager. Did not do well at Burton Albion.

It seems to be the case. Pete O'Rourke is reporting it on Twitter.

His managerial record, such as it is, is appalling, and I'm being kind. Sooner have SM back!

Tbh he is not wrong very often. Anything can scupper a transfer. I had a relation signing for Notts 2 years ago. All just about done & dusted then at the 11th hour 2 players didn't leave.

Had to look him up on Wiki as I'd never heard of him...

Playing career ended effectively when he was 26. Not much after Burnley, apart from doing OK for Tampa aged 30
I like that he has international experience - in USA (and a bit in Calcutta!)

We really need to hear from The Bros and Gagliardi what convinced them (if it turns out to be true)
