Can't be any of us mere mortals as we don't have the means to access said profile. Which leaves someone whom has been granted access, or someone who knows how to gain access.

To be clear with you rA (and I appreciate the support such as it is) and for that matter all other posters, Swale is pointing his grubby little finger at me as operating Rattea's profile, an accusation he's made a number of times before, in fact more directly than he is doing now. Of course there's no way of me proving my innocence in that regard, and of course Swale knows that, hence his accusations, I could in the past point to Rattea's appalling grasp of the English language as proof but he seems to have cleaned his act up a bit on that one.

Be assured, Rattea is here in his own right, primarily but not solely, and using the modern vernacular, to ensure that he's still 'living rent free' in Swale's head, his only disappointment possibly being that Rattea's now having to share space with TTR and I.

I assume, hacking aside, that AF is the only one with access to the necessary passwords usernames etc to clone a rat, and indeed probably to clone any other poster on here. Given his well publicised spats with other current members, its therefore strange that, if he were so inclined, he hasnt created fake posts from Swale or yourself already. I dont think he has. So why suddenly pick a rat out of a bag just to stir **** now? It can only lead to more people leaving the site. I'd say we have a real rat infection or a rat being cloned by a non current site member who may still be registered and was a former mod so could have known those passwords.

Tbh I think that most would acknowledge that you do have a bit of a mischievous streak and that is all I was referring to. It was just a little bit of banter and I have made no suggestion at all that the guilty party is AF either.

Maybe it is, as you imply, ‘a former mod’, I have no idea and quite honestly couldn’t care less. I doubt very much that people will leave on the basis of the rodent’s return - authentic or otherwise - and even I can’t remember who ‘chris’ is. Like I said, ‘storm in a tea cup’ and as Swale suggested, ‘best ignored’.

You flatter me regarding my mod privileges GP

I can modify any post any forum at any time, although the act does leave a record. I have modified my own posts after the generally allowed ten minutes maybe once or twice a month, and only to correct syntax and grammar errors. I've modified or deleted maybe 20 posts during my time as mod, apart from those of DCFCArmy who I spent a few months constantly doing so

I have no access to user passwords, so couldn't 'hack' anyone's (for example Rattea's) profile with an exact spelling/case, only create a new profile that was similar (as could anyone)

Moderators used to have access to IP addresses so I could see who was running multiple profiles but this utility was removed (from Footy Mad, I can see it on other Vbulletin forums) some time ago

I can issue yellow and red cards to user, red cards being accompanied by temporary or permanent bans (to any user on any forum)

I can 'stick' and unstick, delete etc whole threads

And thats it. Not much really
