I suspect we've been waiting for the City case to conclude but Silverstone has just wrapped up a deal with Visa for the club.
It's primarily aimed at our middle east fan base and giving them extra deals around the club etc.
Apperently we've been doing double digit growth in the middle east, year on year for support - Rag can probably aid more to this.
Hopefully we'll see him wracking up some more deals.

Alright mate,
I've not really had chance get into the details. However, like Guinness being an official sponsor of the Premier League, this strikes me as a very easy deal to do. I put it more at the door of Guinness approaching NUFC rather than Silverstone being completely brilliant in securing new business. To date I'm very underwhelmed with the lack of business Silverstone has brought in.
So, like Guinness, I have a belief that as Visa are a sponsor of FIFA and with the PiF funding FIFA's world cup championship that part of that 1B USD investment there would be a verbal agreement that the FIFA sponsors would be encouraged invest in Newcastle.
We haven't seen the value in money yet. Is it substantial? We all know that City's Puma deal is 1B USD over 10 yrs. It has been heralded as superb business and a shrewed partnership the money was confirmed.
What are Visa coughing up? We don't know. Moreover, it is via Visa Saudi.

So this seems to be more a strategic partnership and more beneficial to Ultra High Net-Worth Individuals Visa card holders perk, like air miles.
This takes me back to the levels of delivery from Silverstone. Last I heard of him, he was hawking discounted shirts to South Korean fans in Seoul... Directors don't peddle Merch. It just smells of desperation.
The club should have secured serious partnerships that make sense. Where's the energy, transport, shipping or trading partnerships?
No Where. Yes we also got a crypto partnership again no one at the club are shouting the value from the roof tops on that one!
I'll be impressed when we see a whale reeled in, a 50+ million deal. Until then Mr Silverstone flatters to deceive.
Chippers is quality!
Don't get me wrong Jammy. Any paying partnership or sponsor is a win, without doubt.
However, this guy came in with great fanfare as a big shot from Arsenal with promises of bringing in the big bucks.
All's I'm saying is can anyone tell he has?
Maybe I'm being harsh but business is not sentimental. Growing revenue has been the No.1 key issues of the company / business side of the club yet 4 yrs in it's still a major talking point among fans, lead to major discontent and endless grumblings from sections of the crowd
We have seen the club have to sell off Anderson and Minteh - leading to the club spending 55m quid of Elanga & the inability to raise salaries which lead to the summer long fiasco we all hope will never be repeated.
Should the footballing side of the club have been as underwhelming as the business side of the club then we'd have a full scale revolt on our hands and the toxicity of the Ashley Era would have returned with gusto!
Of that I have zero doubts.
We've already seen the moaning, whining and grumbling of last season when results didn't go Eddie's way. With a small yet voice minority calling for his head. Ridiculous as that sounds but it happened.
All through the summer the noise around the seemingly clueless recruitment seem to have been put at the manager and the skeleton crew left in Paul Mitchell & Darren Eales wake.
Let's not kid ourselves. Life in every single facete, like it or loath it, revolve around money.
Those who say 'More Money, More Problems' generally doesn't have much.
Money is the tool that makes life easier. Look at the cartel. The ability to squander hundreds of millions of pounds year after year, for most of them Spurs, Binmen, Arsenal, Chelsea all benefit from the cash. The Red Filth are the exception to the rule, that toxic dumpster fire is it's own special case.
