Styles was anonymous for most of the game in midfield. Molumby was poor in midfield for Ireland and got subbed. After that we had more control in the middle. Johnston not used.
Really pleased for Ireland. Not surprised about our two you mention who are poor to average at best midfielders.

    Thanks Al.
Now if we can get drawn V Sweden would be nice as they are brutal.... I am writing this in codex so Thomas can;t read it....

Great result for ROI and really pleased for them but have to agree with you about both Styles (who looked pretty decent in previous games for his country that I'd watched) and Molumby (who I expected a bit more from).

Over-all the ROI squad doesn't have either the quality or consistency of many of the teams they will face so it's going to be tough for them but the desire is there and many have upped their game recently. Parrott too has clearly made a difference. Wish them well and doubtless a few celebrations going on tonight!😁

That would probably be a walk in the park for you considering our recent performances, Dubs.

Chuffed for the ROI. We be over there next year when the WC is on so hopefully you will get to the finals. We are really looking forward to our visit, first since 2019.

You would beat Sweden as Thomas will most likely agree!

'Styles was anonymous for most of the game in midfield'............ well yes. He didn't come on until the 63rd minute. Talk about a harsh audience 😂 .
