Think of all the legal jargon and antiquated system we have stopping us from being more forceful in not letting illegal immigrants into the UK. I don't think he'd be anywhere near as affective as he is in the States.

Trump has a free card to mouth off at everyone from where he sits, that's why he comes across as a 'sound man' but he's still a Russian puppet.

Do you think he's a "good" American president? Have you seen his recent poll ratings? He might have sealed the Mexican border, but his broader immigration policies are very unpopular with the public.

Potential and intent are very different Stan.

The Russian economy is in desperate measures - even more so than ours. Putin might make aggressive noises about Nato interference, but he would never take Nato on. He can't even conquer Ukraine.

The unknown is whether all the members of nato would enact article 5. But he won't want to test the possibility that they might.

Yes, he has massive superiority in tonnage of nuclear, but that would, I think, be a desperate defensive measure, rather than an opening salvo at the start of a confrontation.

Here's a thought. If Putin was losing a war with Nato, would Trump rescue him?

Of course the likelihood of him goin nuclear is remote, but I’d sooner have the US on our side whoever’s president !!

I seriously think the yanks and Russia and China have weapons and tech we don’t even know about- it was around 10yrs before the stealth bomber came to light !!
