It wasn’t a holy night then
I meant there was 6 draws you could go at with your 5 draws, in essence you could have scored 5 draws from the possible 6 available.
You could have easily scored 15 points had you chosen 5 draws and out of the 6 and yours 5 came up.
Do catch up or better still stay behind after class and write one hundred lines saying, 'I am a silly boy'.![]()
“Weekly winner(s): Very interesting as there were a big 24 points up for grabs, consisting of x6 score draws, x2 away wins and x2 home wins.”
My point was that there were not 24 points up for grabs, it was impossible! Nice to see that at least one other got my point. Also did you know that we have 22 games left to play with 66 points available but that’s another impossibility!
What a day! Todays predictions had everything and nothing so let's take a look at what unfolded.
The weather took its toll in a big way so with only 7 games to pick from, the scores were very very low indeed.
No Shows: x 2 dropped out and they were Avondale and MillersTale, they didn't miss out on much though.
Weekly winner(s): Like I said low scores and this has to be the lowest ever score to win the bonus points. x 2 had the highest score of 4 points but, it was good enough to claim 5 extra points so, well done to Bramley Miller and CAM. To think that Glenn Miiler, Grist and myself almost won it on 3 points.
Predict a score: No winners on this either as the final score was Cardiff 1 v 0 Wigan so another rollover next Saturday.
Joker(s) played: None played and boy aren't we all glad we didn't play one!
Wooden Spoon(s): Stand by your beds as I announce another new record. The highest score was 4 points, then 3 points, next came the 2 pointers and then the solitary point scorers. Finally we get down to the spoons being awarded, and I mean spoons as a total of 6 of you all scored zero! In no particular order, HK Miller, Leeds Miller, CT Milller, Millersrus, Ronners and a123 who doubles up from last week. It was a hard day all round and hopefully we don't see another one like it.
Two more break the 200 points barrier, Pipppy and myself.
Saved by the bell courtesy of a very late Chelsea goal, Glenn Miller still sits on top with the rest of us in hot pursuit.
