Look at Lincoln City go! Thrashed us pre season - second in league 1 and playing great football. Interestingly like Corberan their manager Shubala was on the coaching staff of Leeds and highly rated there. Lincoln sold an excellent Makema to Norwich for 1.2 million who is on fire there.

Lessons to learn are recruitment yet again. They also have talented young players with pace.

In comparison with have ageing highly paid players with no pace, a poor manager and we spent almost four times the Makema fee on flat footed Heggebo,

It?s horses for courses. When you look at a clubs spend you also have to look at the outgoing players and Norwich still balanced their books by 3 million, We obviously had more outgoings than incomings of big fees so our balancing of the books was in excess of 8 million.

So in essence it?s not as if Norwich spent over 30 million going out in one hand with more than that coming in on the other hand!

Michael Skubala has a decent reputation. I wondered whether we may have gone for him when Corberan left and again before we appointed Mason. Thinks outside the box. Certainly got his starting set up against us right during pre season. We were two down before we even took our spots in the stand ffs 🤣 .

I put a bet e.w. on Lincoln to win the division on handicap because of the way they beat us. Looking a good bet so far!
