I think it's a bit daft when players don't celebrate scoring against their former clubs, but their prerogative. Read someone on another message board saying he shouldn't play against Falkirk in the cup cause of reported pre-contract. Crazy stuff. Might have done himself a favour not scoring!
Yeah would agree it's possible he's just a shy type especially in front of cameras.
To be honest I agree with that poster, if Sibs has signed a pre contract leave him on the bench if we're back in Grangemouth.

He's always been like that hasn't he? I don't think he's easy to read

Not celebrating a goal against your former club - can you think of any of our ex players scoring against us and not celebrating? Simon Murray, Col Donaldson and Blair Spittal all LOVE a goal against us.

Exactly my point. You have to respect the fans who are paying your wages more than those of your old club.

Being said around the boards....lol. Bit of an overreaction to bin him from the cup game if we were to get through is it not? I was at the game and thought nothing of his reaction when he scored. To me it looked like he was just showing his ex team respect by not celebrating which is quite a common thing is it not?

I have no issues with players not celebrating when scoring against former clubs etc....I do however have a massive problem when they apologise to the away support for scoring.! That sh1t can get in the sea! I think CS is professional enough to be able to put in his best performance against any club, regardless of if he has signed a pre-contract....anything less would look bad for his potential new employers and even worse for his current ones. I personally couldn't give a feck, as long as it doesn't effect his on field performance...which it hasn't!
