I watched Sapsford after the final whistle and the laddie looked ill. He was bent double for ages. Is something not right there.

I see the negative brigade were quick off the mark ( no you ads before you say)

Firstly that ref, I'd love to believe that was just incompetence but I don't, he's a cheating chunt IMO

The yellow for Fatah right at the start for a very soft foul, then the red dot nothing, which didn't even look a yellow, better be challenging that

I thought United were good after the ref ruined the game, very professional comfortable performance until the 78th minute then their deflected effort made it a nervy end but only poor decision making on the break stopped it being a couple more

A few did very well, Canara, Sevelj , Sibbald and Ferry all did very well, unfortunately a few put in way more work than needed tonight because of the ref

A couple subs looked very tired very soon, mainly Stirton and Sapsford, not sure if Sapsford still struggling after that virus that he had

Fair play to Dolcek for the assist, very good back through

    All in all job done

Is this the worst we've been in the final third for years? Wrong decision after wrong decision and it's got to the stage where players are frightened to make any decisions.

Great vision and through pass from Dolcek for our second though.

    Dolcek looks inspired again

Re the above I agree. I do think Sapsford is still not well. Certainly shadow of himself atm

Whilst I think Iovu is a liability, that was a shoulder charge if ever I've seen one and what's always called a coming together so I've literally no idea why he's red carded for it, never mind the fact there was a covering defender anyway. I was annoyed he gave a free kick at all and absolutely dumbfounded when he pulled that card out. Fatahs yellow was an absolute pisstake and he now misses the quarter final because of it. Joke!

You were doing ok until you said Ferry did well.....we must have been at different game because he was hopeless. How many cross field passes did he attempt and fk up? I honestly cant see where you thought he played well at all.

Would certainly be interesting to know where that ref is from because that looked like levelling up the Falkirk/Henderson sending off on Saturday. Ross Graham was easily covering there.

Agreed, although he was energetic and covered a lot of ground. His distribution was terrible like you say.
Looks to me like a player who can't wait to be away. And I didn't see it but seemingly he was berating Stirton after the final whistle.

Regardless of how Ferry played, he was right to have a go at Stirton - he’d picked up the ball on our left in space about 10 yards outside their box with about 20 secs to go. The clear and obvious thing to do was to take the ball for a wander down to the corner flag yet bizarrely he instead decided to go on a bit of a mazy centrally and ended up losing the ball. They then punted it up the park but the ref did then blow for FT. However given what he’d produced throughout the match, it wouldn’t have surprised me one iota if the chunt had decided to let Spartans have ‘one last wee go and see what happens’. That’s why Stirton should have taken in to the corner and why Ferry, correctly IMO, was giving him the third degree. It was naive and stupid.
