I don?t feel sorry for them. They know how bad we are and still choose to go. Nobody forces them to go.

Sacked in the morning, not fit to wear the shirt and your football is f ing s*** were the chants tonight and rightly so. We never looked interested, we were slower than them and no desire no ideas, long boot down the middle again has Dawson had his brain taken out of his head, they were massive and we put the ball in the air with gray and Nombe up front.
What did MH and his coaches do for 10 days, it certainly wasn’t tactics or fitness. He walked out on us before please Hamshaw do it again, you are not a manager and never will be.
Should have gone much earlier, statistically changing now is less likely to have the required effect, weak leadership from the top and a board that seems happy to relegate us to League 2 in our centenary year, embarrassment from top to bottom.

So our genius manager who has brought in 19 players in two windows, he wanted three, not going to happen. Brought in two big CB signings, nowhere to be seen!! He plays three at the back AGAIN with no CB to cover those three on the bench. Instead he floods the bench with forwards and only brings one on. Douglas just come back from injury and MH knows the risk as we have failed to have successful injury recoveries multiple times, and has no natural CB cover, it has to be deliberate because nobody that works in football as a professional can keep making these mistakes week in and week out.

Nothing positive in that performance and I am not convinced that a lot of these players want to play for him or us. Feel for Douglas he was devastated but one of the few that seems to care, but let us not forget that our recovery team consists of part time staff.

We recruited a young lad from Man Utd supposed to be a great catch and doesn’t play him. So many issues so many problems he can’t be in charge for the Donny game.

His post match interview was the usual rubbish.
The pitch, the fans everyone?s fault but himself
It?s too late now the damage is done.
The club is in a real mess.
How far have we fallen since PW is staggering.

He looked shocked when he admitted Whatmore added quality - has he not seen him during training ??

Washed up , boring and clueless.

Really hope he and all his team get sacked today - even the tea ladies could do better !!

Absolutely. The mess we are in, and have been in, is exactly what I thought would happen when I used to reply to the Warne Out threads by saying careful what you wish for. Quite a few told me I was being stupid, and I take no pleasure at all from them not being right. We (collectively) never know the good times until they are gone. I remember similar conversations way way back on Millers On Line when we were mid table in the Championship and people were moaning that we weren’t pushing into the play offs. No doubt we’ll be here again in the fullness of time but dear god something needs to change. I wanted Hamshaw to be successful so much it hurt, I wanted him to be the next Ronnie. What we got was the next Danny Bergara

His interview was painful and as a person I felt for him, he looked like a rabbit in the headlights he looked a broken man, and we don't need that. However that is on the chairman, it was clear to those that don't wear rose tinted classes this coach wasn't a manager before the new year. If our chairman was here to act or if he had delegated the authority to act we could have had a new guy in and they would have had a window to help them. Now our only hope is MH realises his approach to football is wrong and turns into a good manager or we get a short term miracle worker in, and there aren't many of them around. Shocking leadership from the top.

As for MH he actually said that they do it on the training pitch but I don't know why we don't see it in the games. He said he expects more from his senior players, when you drop the club captain and persist with your stupid formation is it any wonder they are not performing for you. As others asked would a manager like Warnock in this situation let Gore be absent with his shoulder issue, I don't know but MH comes across as not having the gravitas to get the players to raise there game to a level that others do, including an opposition last night that had played 120 minutes only 3.5 days ago.

Reflecting on this after a sleep, I think there are a couple of things I'd add.

Firstly, I hope the club have some well developed conversations with the options to take over if, as I'd strongly suspect, he goes today/tomorrow. We have a track record for being one of the worst in all professional football for dithering at this stage, flirting with managers who have little interest in us, and generally wiping out weeks at a time with no leadership. Staying up requires someone in charge, and MH's better output is preferable to no manager or an older pro stepping in.

Secondly, I think that on balance it's the right time to make a change (assuming the above is covered), but some of the sh** people talk online about a bloke who's likely headed for a spell of unemployment backs up a lot of what I've said in the past about toxic elements in our fan base. We have some amazing fans who travel everywhere in all weathers, regardless of how we're doing... and we have some absolute garbage who range between those who spouted about him being useless without ever giving him a chance, to those who throw insults out as though he's not an actual person.

Anyway, hopefully something changes ahead of Saturday, whatever it is to kick us into gear against Donny... they'll be bang up for it after midweek. Any half performances on Saturday and we'll get absolutely battered.

These aren't games for loanie kids. If we can get Ayres & Hatton back. Agbaire cover in defence. I've written Kaleta & Martha off. Rafferty was one of our better players last night when he got on. Get a manager in who'll go 4-3-3. Need Gore & Benson in midfield. Front 3 Whatmore Ayres Nombe.
