Pope has started making mistakes again but even when he doesnt then he rarely helps set our counter attacks going which should be a strong point.
With the striker situation we currently have, we should be shooting a lot more IMO.
I agree with those being 2 first team additions needed, as Jammy said I think Wissa will come good with a pre-season and a run of games.

Also think we need another RB and likely a RCB, assuming both Tripps and Schar end their time here next season… though a year extension wouldn’t be the end of the world.

Think we could sell Woltemade in the summer, he’s not got the pace for the Prem, and with his lack of physicality he’s not gonna turn into a top class midfielders… only alternative would be switching to a 4-4-2/4-4-1-1… which would give us a Plan B to be fair, and we would still need another striker to alternate with Wissa… but can’t see a full international playing a bit part if we play 4-3-3 still most games.

Also sell Osula and Willock and Pope, and that would mean bringing in another midfielder (if we stick with 4-3-3 which I expect will be the case)… but we’d need to rotate Ramsey and Miley a lot more into the team.

Don’t think we are a million miles away now, but we massively lack a striker at the moment.

A 'keeper is an absolute must but so is another RB because I think we'll lose Tino in the Summer.

A top striker is also an absolute necessity because I don't think we'll ever see the Wissa Brentford saw.

Yesterday was another example of why we need a number 10 (don't think that man is Woltermade). We have zero creativity in the side and, when a team sits back or is very well-organised, we're fucked.

This season has been marred with individual mistakes. Pope has been guilt of many of them.

I have a lot of respect for Pope, he's been a great servant but time is up on him being the first choice keeper.

Again this season needs to be a learning experience. Tough decisions need to be made and a raft of quality young talent need to come in.

Keepers: Bart Verbruggen - 35m Euro value - cost probably 50m quid & Robin Risser - 10m Euro Value - cost probably 25m Quid. I'd sign both and let the rest of them go. Pope's contract is up in 2027.

Valid Argument Zips. This season certainly feels like NUFC are a 'cup team' this season. So it's defo a good shout.

    Right backs:

AS Roma right-back Saud Abdulhami - 3m Euro Value - 5-7.5m quid - apparently he'd jump at the chance to play for NUFC

The shirt sales in Saudi would boom!

Union Saint-Gilloise right-back Anan Khalaili - 12m Euro Value - 15m quid - Dunno enough about the lad to comment.

Eintracht Frankfurt right-back Nnamdi Collins - 15m Euro Value - 20m quid - Dunno enough about the lad to comment.

Our strikers and keepers is 12th-20th material.

None of them would get into any of top 10 sides.

    Tabel dont lie.

Its back to the drawing board.

Wissa, Woltemade, Elanga is not good enough.

Wissa had one good, one of, season at Brentford where everything went is for him... ffs, worst no 9 I can remember.

Murphy's comments about having 'figure it out in game. No time to work on patterns' etc explain performances and results.

However, it doesn't excuse the inconsistency and ineffectuality.

Additional signings are required in summer and a consistent, sustained training period before next season kicks off.

There is a lot that needs to be done with the lads brought in last summer as it's clearly below the standards expected from the financial investment.

This season NUFC are clearly a cup team and struggling to find form in the league. Take the silver linings and doing get too down about the league position. Win the FA Cup or Champions League haha.
