I'm hurting that we've thrown away that win and it should have been a win.
Despite that, there were a lot of positives I felt:
Elanaga - looking really good.
Ramsey - looking really good.
Both looked like the players we thought we'd bought.
Tino - more minutes, can only be a good thing.
Ramsdale - despite hte pen, played really well. Fact he was coming out to support defence I thought was a massive bonus for us.
Tonali - ran the midfield - have to say he looks a lot better where he has the responsibility, rather than alongside Bruno.
Big Joe - warrior esque in the middle.
Hall - MoTM. . . easily
Osula - I think we'll sell him to be honest but he showed again, their is a football player in there. His relentless runing and blood and thunder attitude were a joy to watch.

Loads of positives.
We were the better team against one of THE elite European sides.
We deserved the win and only naievety stopped us. Eddie set us up fantastucally well but won't get the credit he deserves because of the timing of the equaliser.
Great performance overall.
Lets have the same performance as the away leg semi v Arsenal last season and beat these b*stards. Can see the headline: Nou-castle United!
Absolutely gutted the way it ended but we showed we can give them a game, much as they'll be a very different proposition at home.
I would have taken a point before the game but nit in the way it happened.
We didn't look out of place and if we hadn't got greedy at the end it was a win. RUN THE BALL TO THE CORNER IN THE 93RD MINUTE FFS. I was screaming at the TV
Hall was amazing.
Barnes was hungry
Elanga was up for it.
Tino is back.
Tonali and Joe controlled the middle easily
Osula is better than the other 2. Why play Gordon as number 9 with 120 mill of strikers on the bench
