I think Swale’s only reference to skin colour was in lighthearted comment regarding Robert Jenrick’s observations about an area of Birmingham, so it’s a little unfair and inaccurate to accuse Swale of ‘profiling people by their appearance’.

In relation to Great Yarmouth he simply reminded us of your previous comments about the general effect of immigration on that town.

As a matter of fact you offered no evidence or facts to back up your erroneous general claim that immigration had a negative impact on the citizens of Great Yarmouth and specifically your observation about the decline of certain areas of the town, the reasons for which are well documented and have been happening over decades.

To then come back and try (but fail) to be clever and say you never mentioned colour or ethnicty amuses me, you didn't mention anything to back up your claim when I politely rebutted your assertion.

Its like having a debate with a 5 year old, though to be fair most 5 year olds I know are actually better.

You’re an odd one, Andy. You have these ‘tricks’. If I speak in support of Swale that’s bad and you end up ‘name calling’, just as you accuse others of doing and just as you have (again, with a variation on your ‘rear gunner’ theme) above. If anyone speaks in support of you - usually only GP now (politically speaking) since TTR has faded away - that’s all good.

If someone replies to you negatively you condemn them for trying to ‘have the last word’ etc, etc. So if someone argues with you, they’re wrong because they’re just ‘having the last word’ and if they don’t, well where does that put you?

Word of advice. It doesn’t work and is a bit daft. Most saw through it a long time ago.
Sometimes people agree, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes we’re right, sometimes we’re wrong. It’s all as simple as that really.

Unfortunately, as far as politics goes, your, at least tacit, support for MAGA, your regular stance against immigration and pro a ‘raise the colours’ mentality puts you at odds with most more often than not, imo.

Well you cant dispute the use of the word "most" entirely, specifically when referencing this forum. I'd estimate the "most" may equate to 3 or 4 individuals who express an opinion agreeing with rA's contention! Not statistically significant in a world infested by 8.2 billion or more carbon based semi sentient units, but good enough on here.

Doesn’t matter whether it’s the forum or generally, GP and I haven’t mentioned agreeing with me, rather the majority being unsupportive of AF’s apparent sympathy for the MAGA cause and his repeated intolerance of immigrants. The recent Manchester by-election certainly seems to support that second theory.

Let’s face it. I have little if any time for those of a Republican persuasion in the U.S. but even they are abandoning the MAGA aspect in droves.
Last week I differentiated between Islamists and ordinary Muslims who obviously follow Islam but are not ‘Islamist’.
Likewise, all followers of the MAGA cause are probably Republicans but by no means ALL Republicans have time for the MAGA doctrine as will, I suspect, become increasingly obvious in the coming months.
