Kelleher is a stain on football. The whole tactic is reprehensible.

Simple is better in this case. You go down without any contact you have to be replaced for the match. Allows the coach to still do it but there is a cost. If you've used up all your subs then it's a field player. No exceptions. if you go down after contact you must sub out until the next corner kick. if a foul is called on the offense on the contact play then rule does not apply.

Even VAR / prem refs can't screw up something this simple and straightforward.

Of course, as always, these rules don't apply to Leeds opponents or any future "super league" teams.

    +1

I think we stay up since we have the best defense of the relegation battling teams. I think that Farke has a lot to do with that. However, his player management skills on offense are as bad as any prem coaches. it's crazy how much Tanaka changes a game tempo and James bothered them right away. I have no idea what Gnonto did to get himself banished and we've lost Longstaff somewhere along the road.

we've become "stale" with the same players over and over and other teams know it. You can see their confusion when we sub in the above mentioned players.

It's also time to sit DCL, Aaronson and Gruev and give someone else a chance. Bijol shouldn't sit another minute on the bench this season. He's a superstar in the making.

    Darlow is very solid

Crikey I?d forgotten about Longstaff who was also excellent against Norwich.

Farke has done pretty well this season but often it seems despite himself.

Needs to throw off some of the caution and negativity. Wolves and Burnley are there to be won but not if we play like we did against Brentford and Sunderland.

Wolves and Burnley will have nothing to play for but pride when we play them, which means they will play without fear, both will be difficult games

We are in the best position and have the easiest run in of those trying to avoid 18th.

    Completely in our hands now.

I see Dermot Gallagher stated the ref cannot do anything because God forbid if the referee says get up and the goalkeeper is really injured obviously then he would be in big, big trouble.
stating further that one of the leagues are going to experiment next season where if a goalkeeper goes down like that it will be a minute out when a player goes off and it will have to be an outfield player

better if that when a goalkeeper goes down, the players have to stay in the centre circle so they cannot come to the manager of whoever and get instructions, however the physio no doubt will pass on info regardless.

Great suggestion on a podcast - get all the Leeds players to go to the side and listen in - nothing to stop them and would be hilarious.

    dermot

speaking of stains on football. He's like the skid mark that won't come out after numerous washings and bleaching.

To listen to that guy make the prem officiating as if it's the best in the world is enough to make anyone sick. So far not one officiating error all year. Just ask him. He'll tell you.

wonder why his mom hated him so much that she named him dermot?
