Is his pre match interview (for Barnsley) the subject of injuries came up and LC said something along the lines of having a few ideas to reduce the level of injuries we've had this season. It remains to be seen of course but that sounds encouraging.

It's a shame Hamshaw didn't have a few ideas about this 6 months ago. Had that been the case we probably wouldn't be in this mess.

No-one else wanted a relegation on their CV.

He's been out of management for a while so took a gamble.

What did Hamshaw offer over 30 odd games?

The implication being that he is at fault. I think that's unfair.

I'm not sure that he's the man to make a significant difference next year, but I don't see that getting rid of him now would be a good idea.

Give him until half-term in October.

No. Some were hoping to see the fabled 'new manager uplift', but clearly it hasn't happened.

Does that mean we should pay him off? Not sure, unless the board has been given assurance that there is someone with a better CV waiting in the wings.

Stop talking Bxxxoxxs, Ronnie, Brecks and Steve Evans said training ground was excellent ? Which managers you on about Redfearn, Stubbs, Docherty,Reg Freeman ? Give me the name of just “one” player that was “amazed” that the training ground is not up to what they had previously experienced ? At the end of the day we have NEVER had better training facilities ! Not sure why we have had so many injuries but one thing for certain it’s not the training ground !

With so few players under contract after this season, I think Clarke basically has to stay on. He knows what’s what now. He will have input on contract offers etc and may be already sounding out potential signings.but the point is he can start immediately on what needs to be done.

I feel that if we have to go through the process of recruiting another new manager and assistant before we can even think about players and tactics etc then the National League almost certainly beckons. It may still, who knows, but I really don’t think we can afford to be starting yet again.
