Aside from the glaringly obvious inconsistency between how breaches of financial rules are dealt with in the Greed League Prem (delays and fines) and the Championship (points deductions), the big question is why is this even coming to light at this late stage if the club have being working with the EFL over the past 18 months in order to avoid precisely this?

Some have commented that we may as well have kept Heggem, Palmer and Fellows which might well have gained us a higher league position that would then have meant that any eventual points deductions would not have resulted in relegation. I can see their point, even if doing so would clearly still not resolve our financial situation.

Definitely need wins from our remaining games now rather than draws but it cannot be good for either Morrison or the players to have this hanging over their heads as well as everything else!
I was one that maintained that we should not have sold our best players; with those players still on board, we would most likely to have been in the playoff positions, so even with the maximum points deduction, we would be no worse off than we are now but with a squad easily capable of staying up.

Football finances are now ridiculous, almost all clubs in the Championship have recorded losses, with all the money supposedly swilling around in football, this should not be the case.

I suppose the club cant have known that Leicester were getting a 6 point deduction and not 12. We also have the 25/26 accounts to think about, as you can breach twice in 2 years if done knowingly.

All a bit unsettling but the facts will come out soon Im sure.
