Looks like the McClaren thing has hit a snag and might be off.......
Stewart ego.
What they think by act as fast as possible, has no actual reality on a needed timeframe. To stewart, a couple of weeks on is no different to playing a play off final that we did, then after that we begin.
The squad situation is of course quite different, but no matter to them as we will not fight for first pick players….we will be going for OOC L2 players. Ten a penny this year.
Meanwhile, warne sweeps to promotion yet again, with a certain ben wiles adding the killer goal against bromley, albeit runners up.
And Nero plays on his fiddle while rome burns.
They won't get bums on seats. We need a manager on the up even if it means paying compensation. His own man getting his own recruitment man in.
Don't know where TS is getting these ideas from probably from the same place we ended up with Hamshaw as manager but it's not the way to go to restore the faith among our fans.

I think if TS wants to regain the respect of those that has lost faith he needs to speak not employ more yes men to speak for him. Second make a clear statement that we will not let players leave on cut price deals, if people want our players then they will have to pay for them, then stick to that. Make it clear to such players that the club comes first if they don't like it spend a year on the bench. Third sign quality down the spine of the team, keeper, CB , midfield general and goal scorer that will show us that we mean business. All great teams at all levels have a great spine, you do not need a director of football to know that. Fourth a announcement and clear plan for dealing with the health and fitness of players. I expect none of them to happen because it is all about the ego and not about common sense and the club anymore. If that seems harsh so be it, fed up with being fed s**t the last few years.
Unfortunately, our present owner is not capable of doing anything like that. There is to be a press release on Monday and if we hear of no takeover, we are doomed. However,I have heard there will be a sale after certain items of contention have been sorted. This sale must be completed A.S.A.P.,time is running out and there are lots that need to be done.
Revell would still be my choice. Would give our fans more belief that we are getting a manager on the way up.
