    Just the impression I get

Do you have a monopoly on seeing enough political decisions that effect lives?

Do you think K&C council have observed their statutory obligations
because it doesn't look like it and those responsible should be prosecuted for at least manslaughter
    I despair wow just wow.
I think I'll leave this alone now I have some experience I've never said I'm an expert just giving my opinion.
Time for me to leave the conversation.

    Me too
So I withdraw everything I've said & agree with your views entirely
    We all have opinions
    Is that better?

As Kerr Avon says above, it's shameful.

If culpable they should be prosecuted

We really need someone from high up in the political world to be banged up because of this to stop politicians literally getting away with murder and hiding behind others. For me, you could start with Blair, May and Cameron.

Yep, of course, i agree, we probably have the same politics, but what you're missing in your quest on here is that there's been plenty of opinions, mostly decent, and you've chased after Yak, just wind yer neck in a bit, Yak's probably the least political bloke on here and obviously doesn't want to engage in political stuff....Grist, however, is fair game, what i'm trying to say is, pick your opponent fella.

This is because there's no extra resources to cover for them .
They will be like zombies, best of all most will be working part time over the next few days to make up a wage that you've cut every year for eight years now.
So when you're giving out your meaningless praise for our emergency services remember we hold you in total contempt."
You can't argue with that. Disgraceful. There are things that can be cut, the police, the fire brigade, the NHS, should be three of the last things on that list. I'd be willing to pay more taxes as long as it was guaranteed those taxes were going to the emergency services.

Germany bans this stuff above the height the normal fire brigade units can reach - a total ban.

Tories vetoed Labour ammendments to commit landlords to make rented accommodation fit for purpose and safe.

    You can't say this isn't political !

2017 in the richest borough in the UK...or one of them..

    ....."The Royal Borough of Kensington"
Absolutely disgraceful. This wouldn't have happened in a block of 'rich' flats. It should now be made law that sprinklers are added to any block of flats. I also read in the last couple of days, about some MPs (mainly Tories, obviously) voting against sprinkler systems being compulsory in newly built schools. I mean, that defies belief.
