Curiously, Wrexham and Stockport are now 2nd and 3rd in this season's away results table. Notts are 7th.
At home Wrexham are 16th, Stockport 13th, Notts 8th.

I think it's been that way for quite a while now. many of the National League clubs in and around the London area have links with Premier League clubs. Aldershot for example have a new pitch laid pretty much every year now because Chelsea's development teams play their home games there. I think there's a similar agreement for BW with one of the big North London clubs. The big difference between clubs like Aldershot, Bromley, Woking, Boreham Wood etc is that they just need to exist any way possible whereas Notts now need perpetual improvement in order to achieve ambitions of climbing back up the leagues.

Similar situation at Bromley I think, although both are well-backed financially by their owners as well.

This Saturday will be exactly one year since we last scored two goals in the opening quarter of the game, Boldewijn on 15 and Sam on 19 in a 3-0 win against Wealdstone on a Friday night.

Guess who was the last Notts player to score at Meadow Lane in the opening minute of the game. He's a player we'd all remember, not necessarily for the right reasons though.

BW ground is also used by Arsenal Ladies, Arsenal Youth and Watford Reserves.

Cheers, I thought it was Arsenal but wasn't quite sure. Makes you realise how they can afford to compete even with rubbish crowds. I suppose quarter of a million in the bank for Tshimanga helped as well.

I've had the Wyscout stats through and the xG for the match in general is just shocking!

It's a good point and is similar in Manchester with the likes of Oldham, Rochdale and Bury traditionally being able to be competitive and keep their place in the football league because there is a talent pool from the area due to the bigger clubs such as Man City, Man Utd and Preston.

This is what disappoints me about our relegation out of the football league. Within the East Midlands we have Derby, Leicester and Forest and with those clubs in our area there is a pool of players between all those that must surely have been able to come and do a job and help us be competitive in the football league.
