In your opinion yes we get it, I'm sure nobody is confused by your stance. Others will select other managers for the title.

The one thing they all have in common is they are ex-managers. I doubt he will ever manage Notts again so you've got nowt to worry about Davy

Now looking forward are you on the Burchnall bandwagon or not ?

Not opinion, who was the manager that relegated us, who was the manager for 2 years in the national league that poor sides were out witting?
Ardley has gone over 2 years too late, maybe its you and the other Ardley brigade that should stop singing his praises, and move on

Wimbledon’s board must have thought he was ok, keeping him on for 6 years which is a rarity now a days and probably a bigger rarity lasting more than 2 years at Notts. He’s gone now, we’re all happy how we are now playing and all hoping it will last for a long time.
MattM of course we are entitled to our opinions even me.You have got to admit that IB has turned a dour team into an attacking free flowing football team with the same players that NA had at his disposal.
Its it a coincidence or better coaching?
That's all im saying let people digest and cogitate that information and compute it anyway they like.
For me he was 5h1te but then again I'm not a wimbledon fan just a notts fan and who saw how his negativity has bought this club to its knees.
He introduced us to none league football and defeats to teams I've never heard off and respected the point at the likes of Dover..!
Hes had the best backing of any notts manager for many moons ( real money not munto)and done foook all with it.
One thing is for sure I'm excited about the future of this club now whereas under NA it was we were crap but a points a point or a wins a win just plodding along doing enough to be top 7...
Nowhere near good enough for this club but if you feel that's what type of club we are so be it your welcome to your opinion many of NA fans seemed to be happy with it.

Quite stupid winding people up though when your mission is to rid the board of petty arguments and you are the instigator of them wouldn't you think.
    True story dat...!
    Choooo choooo
I think barrow should go for Sol instead of Ardley
    Great game yesterday.!

I thought last season we played some pretty decent stuff and we scored a lot of goals. This season’s play was woeful, I was always up for someone replacing him if he was going to be better and hopefully IB is. I just wouldn’t say he’s a crap manager and that’s more based on he did pretty good at Wimbledon, they haven’t seen any improvement since he left and he did get them up. If we can continue playing how we are now I’ll be very happy, I was one of a few when Nolan was in charge I couldn’t stand the style of play regardless to us challenging at the top end.

I have Nolan any day of the week instead of Ardley, streets ahead, a higher division, and now assistant at the well playing West Ham, pretty conclusive who is better
And as Warnock used to say, its WINNING FOOTBALL that matters, nothing else is remembered

So it's a fact not an opinion. Gotcha. On that simple basis Alan Hardy is Notts County's worse ever Chairman as he was the only Notts owner/chairman to see us relegated. Fact?!

Where have I sang his praises? The quote you bizarrely selected in your post 10 mins before kick off on Saturday contained no praise. You say others are singing his praises, I'm not seeing it.

He's gone, you really didn't rate him. We all know, but we've got a new manager now he's been in post since the end of March. You on the Burchnall Bandwagon Davy or still pelting Ardley with rotten fruit and awaiting his next managerial role?

I think their6 replacement kept them up when they were free falling into relegation so I've read on here.i cant comment on his time at Wimbledon just the stats to ho by I suppose but they dont interest me.
But I can comment on his time here and what has he won and where did he leave us..? Nothing and none league, some peoples idea of success or adequate but it's not my definition.
Like I say Matt if you were happy with them stats who am I to change your mind or anyones mind with the same opinion but I would suggest maybe raising the bar in your lifes a little higher.

In terms of Wimbledon, initially NA over achieved. When he left they were in free fall, but he left them in a much better position than when he joined.

In terms of Notts, I believe he deserved the opportunity last season and this. But, he also deserved to be shown the door this season.

He did not over achieve a wimbledon, he got lucky AFTER 3 YEARS finishing 5th, then going up in the play offs (as play offs are a lottery)
After that he struggled to keep wimbledon in the league, thats where his respect the point crap was born, finally resigning before being sacked, as under him they were certs for relegation
And he certainly left Notts in a worse position
