    Yes very sad, so many people affected by him directly and indirectly. His wife still lives in the same house in Heaton now married to someone else. One of his first attacks was on a 14 year old girl at Silsden not far from Colne. Saved by a passing car as he threw over a hedge.

    I was living in Bingley at the time and my neighbour's "alibi" did not stack up.

    Long story short, he told his wife he was in Edinburgh on the weekend in question visiting an old college friend.

    Truth be told he was in Loughborough having it away with one of his 18 year old female students.

    Result: Loss of job, loss of home and divorce.

    He had a lot to answer for did Peter Sutcliffe.
