I thought the interviewer was harder to understand than the manager at times. Until the end when their man got frantic in search of a finish
"Totally dominant in the second half", he says - only if you missed the first 20 minutes of it.

I think yesterday highlights how difficult it is to please football fans. We have been criticised for controlling games but missing lots of chances, even when going on to win the game. Yesterday was the opposite, apart from the winning the game bit, and lo and behold we still got criticised for being lucky, after a determined, backs to the wall display with a still ailing team.
You know sometimes, after reading comments from opposition supporters, I wonder if Charlie and Stall were at the the same game. From them it sounded like a Notts B team were being pummelled by Real Madrid.

Thanks (as always)!
One question - if the Daggers captain hadn't turned it into his own net, would this have been counted as a big/good chance? Or did it get 0 xG not because it was an OG but because it wasn't considered a very good chance? I thought it looked nailed on for a goal had Wright not got there first.
All OG's have no xG value. If we gave an xG value for own goals we would have to basically include values for every back pass or clearance towards you own goal. Same with penalties, I always include them because it is an event that will impact the game but you couldn't put an xG value on an innocuous looking hand ball or foul where no attempt on goal has been made.
